Storeman / forklift operator required for the role in Thomastown
Your new company
Client based in Thomastown is currently seeking an experienced Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse team in a temp to permanent position.This is a very hands on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of forklift operation, picking orders, and general warehouse labouring
Your new role
- Operating counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently- Loading and unloading trucks
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Manual handling and heavy lifting
- Receiving and dispatching stock
- General warehouse cleaning and housekeeping
- Assisting with stock control and inventory count
What you'll need to succeed
- Valid LF Forklift Licence (LF)- Previous warehouse/storeperson experience
- Comfortable with physical labour and manual handling
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders
- Able to work well within a team environment
* Only Australian permanent residents and Australian citizens will be considered for this role
* No students or working holiday visas
What you'll get in return
