ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Store Manager to lead our Black Pepper store in Hornsby.As the Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You’ll lead a passionate team, manage inventory, maintain visual merchandising standards, and create a welcoming shopping experience for our customers.

*Please note this is a Full-Time position with every other weekend off. (Week 1 Monday-Friday and Week 2 Tuesday-Saturday)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead, coach and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day store operations, ensuring the store is organised, efficient and operating to brand standards.
  • Manage stock levels and inventory processes, including replenishment, stock organisation and minimising stock discrepancies.
  • Develop and manage monthly staff rosters, ensuring appropriate coverage while operating within allocated labour hours and budget.
  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store consistently reflects the Black Pepper brand and creates an inspiring shopping environment.
  • Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to drive sales, improve customer engagement and achieve key business objectives.

  • Highly organised and commercially minded, with the ability to prioritise effectively and confidently manage the fast-paced demands of a retail store.
  • Naturally proactive and solutions-focused, with a strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards across store presentation, styling and visual merchandising.
  • Fashion-forward with a genuine passion for the Black Pepper brand and an understanding of how great styling and customer service can drive sales.
