Talent Focus are currently seeking experienced Stores / Warehouse Operators for our clients working within the Steel manufacturing/ distribution industry with opportunities available in Carole Park and Richlands.
We have vacancies across day shift and afternoon shift, with immediate starts available. These positions offer ongoing casual employment with the opportunity to transition to permanent work.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming structural steel materials.
- Picking, packing and preparing steel products for dispatch.
- Operating forklifts and gantry cranes to move and handle steel materials safely.
- Ensuring materials are stored and handled correctly.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores
- Experience handling structural steel or other heavy industrial materials is highly regarded.
- Current forklift licence.
- Current gantry crane ticket required for the Carole Park role.
- Ability to safely handle heavy and bulky materials.
- Good communication, organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
- Availability for day shift or afternoon shift.
- Current working rights in Australia.
