Full-time Store Person Role available in Geebung, Brisbane

Our private company delivers quality services within Engineering plastics and signs & graphics. Join our client, you will be apart of a industry-leading company with a low profile and high entrepreneurial operating model.
Your new role
As their new stores' person, you will play a vital role in their daily operations and will have the following responsibilities, but not limited to the following:

  • Assist and perform counterbalance forklift operations
  • Contribute to picking orders as well as restocking and unpacking inventory
  • Carry out heavy and manual handling when required and within OHS regulations
  • Work collaboratively in a team and within departments to achieve company goals and targets.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment and following safety protocols
  • Attend to computer tasks within the warehouse when required

What you'll need to succeed
To be a succesful applicant as our clients new stores person, you will hold the following:

  • Valid High Risk Work - LF Licence
  • Previous experience in counterbalance forklift operations, high reach is highly advantegous
  • Exposure to the warehousing industry in previous roles such as pick packing, stores person, warehouse operative etc.
  • Willingness to learn and take onboard instructions
  • Physically fit to carry out manual tasks and majority on your feet/standing for duration of shift
  • Contribute to ideas towards the business and hold passion for the manufacturing and logistics industry
  • Ability to pass a physcometric test prior to commencing in the role
  • Reliable transport to and from site
