Lead stakeholder engagement, communications and consultation

Your new Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced engagement and communications professional to take ownership of stakeholder and community engagement across a diverse project portfolio. Working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders, you will develop and deliver integrated engagement and communications strategies that support project outcomes while building trusted relationships with communities and key stakeholders. You will lead consultation activities across both face-to-face and digital channels, including community information sessions, stakeholder meetings, online engagement initiatives and targeted communications campaigns. The role will see you creating engaging content across web, social media, newsletters, presentations and stakeholder communications while providing strategic advice on complex and sensitive issues. Alongside engagement delivery, you will contribute to media activity, support issues management and help drive continuous improvement in engagement practices. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong judgement, strong stakeholder management capability and the ability to balance community expectations with organisational objectives.
What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, community engagement or communications
• Experience developing and delivering engagement strategies for complex projects or issues
• Strong writing skills across digital content, stakeholder communications and presentations
• Experience managing community consultation and engagement activities
• Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Understanding of digital engagement tools, social media and online consultation approaches
