Pacific Energy is seeking two experienced Field Service Mechanical Supervisors to join our Field Services team on an 8/6 FIFO dayshift-only roster from Perth to Kalgoorlie.

In this key leadership role, you will lead and develop field-based maintenance teams across multiple sites. With regular site travel from Kalgoorlie, in a company provided vehicle, you will provide hands-on leadership, drive safety initiatives, and support the successful delivery of mechanical maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop field-based maintenance teams to deliver scheduled and reactive mechanical maintenance safely, on time, and to a high standard, while fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
  • Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership, toolbox talks, safety observations, risk assessments, and compliance with permit and isolation procedures.
  • Coordinate daily work activities, resources, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient maintenance delivery and minimise downtime.
  • Support fault finding, servicing, inspections, repairs, and optimisation of OEM generation equipment and associated balance of plant systems.
  • Work closely with Maintenance Planning to optimise reliability, resource utilisation, and operational performance, while responding effectively to breakdowns and urgent maintenance issues.
  • Monitor work quality, maintenance completion, and asset performance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of generation equipment.

What you will bring:

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (MEM30219) or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Current manual driver's licence.
  • Proven experience leading tradespeople or contractors in a field-based maintenance environment.
  • A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to regularly travel to operational sites, providing visible support, coaching, and safety leadership to remote teams.
  • Strong understanding of WHS requirements, permit systems, risk management processes, and site safety compliance.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience using CMMS or work order management systems.
