Supervisor
- Supervise the day-to-day delivery of subdivision projects from construction through to completion.
- Manage site crews, subcontractors and plant while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers and Project Managers to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Subdivision Supervisor to join a well-established Tier 2 civil construction contractor delivering a strong pipeline of subdivision projects across South Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Supervisor who has a strong background in residential subdivision, including bulk earthworks, stormwater, sewer, drainage, roads and associated civil infrastructure.
You will play a key role in leading site teams and subcontractors while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
About the Role
- Supervise the day-to-day delivery of subdivision projects from construction through to completion
- Manage site crews, subcontractors and plant
- Coordinate bulk earthworks, stormwater, sewer, drainage and road construction
- Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site inspections
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project plans, specifications and safety requirements
- Monitor productivity, quality and project timelines
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, subcontractors and consultants
- Assist with planning and sequencing of works
- Manage materials, plant and resources on site
- Maintain a strong focus on QA/QC and environmental requirements
- Identify and resolve issues before they impact project delivery
About You
- Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor, ideally within subdivision
- Strong knowledge of bulk earthworks, stormwater, sewer, drainage and road construction
- Experience managing civil crews and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes and site safety
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front
- Relevant civil construction experience within Australia
- A strong commitment to delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard
