The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Disability support worker to be a part of our team inNewcastle.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
About you:
- Experience with disability and aged support
- Posses relevant qualifications in disability or ageing support
- Hold current First aid/CPR
- Manual handling experience
- Please note this is a female preference as requested by the client
