Position Purpose

Are you a seasoned professional dedicated to advancing the hearing care sector? As the Talent Management Specialist, you'll lead transformative strategies across Australia. Collaborate with APAC, our Italian headquarters, and a cross-functional team to drive innovation in vibrant markets. If you understand the hearing care industry, possess Oracle skills, and an academic network, we'd like to connect.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to Australia’s Back Office Business Partner & Talent Manager, the Talent Management Specialist will support the implementation of the People Strategy for Australia through the design, planning, coordination and delivery of key HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design, development, and implementation of new talent development processes, resulting in the creation of an internal bench of top talent
  • Manage the development of performance management training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns
  • Develop, initiate, and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion, and succession planning
  • Ensure that organization-wide talent management is focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Work on implementing a system to collect and coordinate aggregate data for the talent pool and translate those data into deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels
  • Act as a partner and as a coach for the development of leadership paths, supporting the growth and continuous training
  • Promote an Inclusive Culture, shape workplace inclusivity through workshops, mentorship, and coaching
  • Act as a Diversity Advocate: champion collaboration, shaping a diverse and vibrant workforce
  • Collaborative Design: Partner with the Country HR Director, Talent Acquisition team, HRBPs, and HR Operations team to design an engaging employee journey
  • Co-ordinate the “Employee Lifecycle” to ensure global deadlines are met and maximise program effectiveness
  • Apply the Talent Matrix Mastery: utilize the 9-Box Matrix for strategic talent management
  • Manage the Global Opportunities: oversee international assignments for holistic growth
  • Promote the Cultural Integration: lead seamless integration for newly acquired entities, reflecting our values
  • Develop and implement tailored onboarding and induction programs for all BO employees
  • Foster the Learning and Sustainability culture across the Corporate population ensuring all mandatory training is completed

Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred, especially in organizational psychology or human sciences
  • Proven experience in talent management or HR leadership
  • Hearing care expertise, Oracle proficiency, and an established academic network
  • Proficiency in psychometric tests, behavioural predictive tools, Hogan assessments, and similar
  • Values-driven leadership in a dynamic environment
