Established in 2007, Vocational Training Services (VTS) is a Registered Training Organisation delivering nationally recognised training across Western Australia, with a strong presence throughout the Kimberley and regional WA.
As VTS continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Trainers & Assessors, along with people whose qualifications and industry experience could become the foundation of a career in vocational training.

Take Your Training FurtherQualified Trainer & Assessor | $95,000 to $125,000
Already an experienced Trainer & Assessor? Bring your expertise somewhere you can see the difference it makes.
You will independently deliver and assess practical vocational training, adapt learning to participant needs, build positive community and stakeholder relationships, and support participants to develop confidence, capability and meaningful pathways forward.
You will hold an appropriate Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher-level training and assessment qualification, together with relevant vocational competency and required licences and checks.
Qualified Trainers may also be able to explore resident, outreach and scheduled block delivery opportunities, including periods of up to six weeks, depending on operational requirements.

Hold a nationally recognised trade qualification and genuine industry experience?
VTS will train suitable candidates to become Trainers & Assessors, with partner organisation Trainwest enrolling you in the TAE course.
If you already mentor apprentices, lead crews, train new starters or enjoy passing on what you know, this could be your opportunity to turn years of practical experience into a new career.

You do not need to already be a qualified Trainer & Assessor. Suitable candidates can embark on the TAE journey and develop the skills required to move into vocational training.
Participant Support Officer / Mentor | $75,000 to $85,000
Great at connecting with people, building trust and helping others progress?
Work alongside Trainers as a student support officer, helping participants stay engaged, confident and connected. Formal training qualifications are not essential, and the Mentor pathway can also provide exposure to the training profession for those interested in progressing over time.
