We're looking for an experienced travel professional to lead a team of Reservations Consultants in a busy, customer focused environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coaching a team, driving sales and making sure customers and travel agents receive an exceptional level of service.
🌏 About the Role
You'll be responsible for leading, coaching and supporting a team of Reservations Consultants, while helping drive sales performance and maintaining high service standards.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate a team of Reservations Consultants
- Monitor sales, conversion and service KPIs
- Conduct regular coaching and performance conversations
- Support the team with customer and travel agent enquiries
- Manage escalated enquiries and resolve issues
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training
- Help with rostering and day to day operational requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve team performance and customer experience
- Work closely with internal teams to achieve business goals
✈️ About You
- Previous leadership or Team Leader experience within travel, reservations or a contact centre environment
- Strong knowledge of the travel industry
- Proven experience coaching and developing a sales or service team
- Confident managing KPIs and driving team performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- A positive, supportive leadership style
- GDS or reservations system experience is highly regarded
