Your new role
Are you an experienced HR Truck Driver looking for a role that offers variety, job security, and the chance to make a positive impact in the community? We are seeking a reliable and physically fit driver to join a busy team in Townsville, with the view to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
This is a hands-on role that combines driving responsibilities with manual handling duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying active throughout the day.
Key Tasks:

• Operating an HR truck safely and efficiently across the Townsville region
• Loading and unloading a range of donated and collected goods
• Handling items including boxes, furniture, household goods and other bulky items
• Conducting pre-start vehicle inspections and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
• Providing excellent customer service when interacting with donors, customers and the public
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

What you'll need to succeed

• Current HR Driver Licence
• Ability to perform repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to pass a Police Check
• Ability to complete a Driver Medical
• Previous experience in a driving, delivery or removals environment highly regarded
