FrameWayz, is a growing business that focuses on whole of house panelisation to provide a complete supply and install offer to builders. We offer a fully integrated timber system designed in MiTek Sapphire, manufactured in our factory, and installed on site for the builder.

About the Role:

As a Detailer based in our Aldinga Beach office, you will be focused on providing accurate truss calculations and detailed layouts in accordance with industry standards and customers plans. Using MiTek Sapphire software, you will be required to produce and review designs, guide the design team and manage the workflow to ensure project deadlines are met.

You will have direct support from our Managing Director, an industry leader in the prefabrication industry and with the use of MiTek Sapphire. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced MiTek detailer to be part of a business focused on expanding in timber prefabrication.

The key functions of the role will include but not limited to:

·Detail roof, floor and wall frames using MiTek Sapphire software

·Working closely with internal sales/transport team to manage the workflow and ensure deadlines are met

·Review designs to ensure industry compliance, in combination with our fabrication process and the customers plans

·Consult with builders, designers, engineers, and internal teams

·Assist to oversee and manage the design team

·Work with the managing director to continually improve internal systems and processes.

Experience / Attributes:

·Experienced detailer: Minimum of 3 years of proven roof/floor truss detailing experience in MiTek Sapphire software (MiTek accreditation is preferred)

·Previous building experience is beneficial

·Experience in working with CAD software

·Understanding of the timber framing code and applicable Australian standards

·Experience and ability tocheck designs and approve plans for manufacture

·Strongleadership and management skills

·Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

·Great communication and organisational skills

·A willingness to learn and continuously improve (a “Can do” attitude is a must)

·Honest, reliable, and punctual

·Available to work overtime as required
