The Electrical Technician is to maintain functions at Mount Monger Operations to ensure all safety and maintenance targets are met.

Mount Monger Operation Site Overview
The Mount Monger Operation (MMO) is an expansive tenement package located 50km southeast of Kalgoorlie. Spanning multiple gold mineralisation styles, this dynamic operation currently includes the Daisy Milano Underground Mine, the Santa, French Kiss and Flora Dora Open pit mines and the Randalls Gold Processing Facility.

The Electrical Technician is to maintain functions at Mount Monger Operations to ensure all safety and maintenance targets are met in compliance with all Company standards, guidelines and procedures for Vaults Minerals. The Electrical Technician is responsible for providing an effective and responsive maintenance function to plant operations by executing all the scheduled maintenance work and responding to operations requirements.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Assist in trouble-shooting and corrective maintenance on electrical, electronic and pneumatic instrumentation equipment in the processing plant infrastructure
- To ensure all electrical work is performed in a safe, compliant and effective manner in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 & WAER
- Aid in implementing immediate remedial action on all detected hazards from workplace, DMP or safety inspections.
- Maintain the Mine Electrical Log Books, ensuring they are current and available for inspection at all times.
- Assist the maintenance planning function by providing correct information feedback.
- Ensure all preventative maintenance and statutory functions are performed.
- Confirm all allocated tasks are completed safely and on schedule.
- Help meet safety, maintenance and financial targets.
- Assist in the development of Departmental strategy for achieving the agreed annual targets of the operation.
About You:
- At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role within Underground Mining
- Current WA “C” Class Driver’s License
- Western Australian Electrical Workers License Unrestricted
- Current First Aid and LV Rescue certification
- High Voltage Switching Operations
- Confined Space
- Working at heights
