Weare seeking experiencedUnderground Electriciansto join a high-performing underground maintenance team. This roleis responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing undergroundelectrical infrastructure, communication systems, and mobile mining equipmentto support safe and efficient mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on underground electrical systems and drilling equipment Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on underground mining assets Maintain pump stations, starter boxes, production drills, and associated infrastructure Complete cable installations, terminations, relocations, and infrastructure upgrade Conduct statutory inspections, testing, and compliance checks Assist with maintenance of surface electrical assets as required Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and legislative requirementsRoster & Location
7/7 / 8/6 roster Night shifts incorporatedinto the roster rotation following every four swings of day shifts FIFO from Brisbane orTownsville BIBO available from Mount Isa
Requirements
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Current LVR/CPR certification
- Minimum 2-3 years' underground mining experience
- Experience maintaining underground electrical infrastructure and mining equipment
- Current MMMQ medical highly regarded
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
