What You Will Be Doing
Our client is currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Dispatch/Allocator Officer based in Banyo to conduct safe and efficient allocations of resources. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30/6pm plus overtime as required.
You will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient allocation of resources in the Multi Unit Dwelling Steam (fleet of 28 vehicles) assisting with scheduling, routing and generation of driver runs and will liaise with customers and drivers to provide assistance where required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring progress of the drivers
- Checking off drivers runs sheet
- Report and investigate missed services (system based)
- Completing daily reports
- Completing fatigue compliance and audits
- Improve safety by actively providing feedback to drivers and supervisors
- Ensure vehicle conditions are maintained to company standard by implementing regular interior and exterior vehicle inspections
- Ensure operators are appropriately presented including uniforms and PPE requirements.
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport (HR licence highly desirable)
- Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
- Willing to undertake a police check
- Previous experience in a vehicle/fleet dispatch or scheduling position
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively
- A strong focus on health and safety
- High attention to detail and problem solving focused
