Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality wall and floor tiling for residential and renovation projects.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, rendering, and waterproofing where required.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape, and lay ceramic, porcelain, stone, mosaic, and other tiles.
- Install and finish tiles using appropriate adhesives, grout, and sealants.
- Repair and replace damaged tiles and existing tiled surfaces.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine tile layouts and material requirements.
- Ensure all tiling work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet construction and renovation timelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment and comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications and Skills
- Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent qualification); or
- At least one year of full-time relevant work experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
- Experience in wall and floor tiling, waterproofing, surface preparation, grouting, and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Ability to manage workloads and meet project deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Current driver's licence is desirable.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
