Daily Tasks
- Operate high reach forklifts (7 bays high, single bay deep)
- Pallet and unit picking/packing using RF scanning and high reach RC/RM forklifts for warehouse and truck loading/unloading
- Complete manual handling duties
- Work within a Chiller environment (PPE provided — jacket supplied)
- Store and maintain materials, equipment and tools
- Identify and escalate Food Safety & Quality, hazard, and risk issues to leadership
Skills Required
- Current forklift licence essential; previous RC and/or RM stand-up forklift experience desirable
- Previous Freezer and/or Export operations experience favourable
- Warehouse and/or Distribution experience (or similar) required
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Commitment, reliability, and motivation
- Calm under pressure when facing obstacles
- Physically fit, able to repetitively lift 5kg–15kg
- Flexible to cover various shifts, including regular weekend work and public holidays
