We’re inviting technicians and maintenance engineers with hands-on experience to register with us for upcoming Defence projects in the new year. 
While there isn’t an active vacancy right now, this is your chance to express interest in exciting opportunities to work on cutting-edge trials of prototype guided weapons in South Australia.
What to Expect:

  • Supporting the Department of Defence, specifically the Defence Science Technology Group (DSTG)
  • Setting up and conducting trials in laboratories and outdoor ranges
  • Hands-on tasks, including welding, using power tools, and maintaining specialist equipment
  • Assisting with pre-trial planning, trial execution, and post-trial activities
  • Working in both physical environments and technical workshops

Key Requirements:

  • Australian Citizenship (mandatory for security clearances)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in technical workshops
  • Proficiency with tools, equipment, and software applications
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Ability to work in remote locations as needed

Desirable Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in science or engineering
  • Trade certificate, forklift licence, doggers licence, or first aid certification
