About the Role

Ready to take your experience off the tools and into planning? We’re looking for someone with hands-on electrical distribution network experience to join our Pakenham team as a Works Ready Coordinator (Work Planner).

Whether your background is in field operations, electrical distribution, works planning or network coordination, this is an opportunity to use your technical knowledge off the tools, while staying closely connected to the work happening in the field.

You'll coordinate everything needed to get network works ready for delivery, from LV/HV isolations and shutdowns through to work packs, permits, drawings and switching documentation. Working closely with field crews, customers and network providers, you'll help make sure work is safe, compliant and ready to go.

  • Plan and coordinate electrical network works from preparation through to field delivery
  • Coordinate applications for LV and HV isolations and shutdowns
  • Prepare work packs, drawings, permits and switching documentation
  • Work with field crews, customers and network providers to resolve issues before works commence
  • Provide practical advice around electrical asset regulations and network requirements
  • Help improve planning processes, systems and workflows

About You

We're particularly interested in hearing from people who have worked in or around electrical distribution networks and understand what field crews need to deliver work safely.

  •  A Certificate III in ESI – Power or similar electrical/network qualification
  • Hands-on experience across electrical network construction, maintenance, operations or works planning
  • Knowledge of Victorian electrical distribution networks and VESI requirements
  • Experience with switching, isolations, shutdowns and/or switching sheets
  • Strong safety and HSEQ knowledge
  • Confidence working with customers, field crews and other stakeholders
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence
  • SAP or similar planning/scheduling system experience would be highly regarded
