Your new role
As the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations while leading and supporting a team of tradespeople to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating workshop personnel and daily activities
• Allocating work and monitoring workflow priorities
• Ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
• Promoting a positive team culture and leading by example
• Assisting with workforce planning and resource allocation
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Workshop Supervisor or similar leadership role
• Trade qualification as a Fitter or Boilermaker
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• The ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• A proactive and hands-on approach to leadership
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• A personality that aligns with a collaborative and supportive team environment
