Your new company
The client is a well established Sydney based architecture and interior design practice that's been around for nearly 50 years. They specialise in workplace strategy and large scale corporate office fit-outs, working with ASX top-20 corporates, major financial services, legal firms and government.
The role is ideal for someone who brings the discipline of a sales professional with the credibility and language of a workplace design expert.

Your new role

  • Generate and convert new business opportunities across corporate office interior projects (typically 1,00010,000 sqm)
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline, targeting a minimum of four proposals/RFPs per week
  • Map the market for lease expiries, churn projects and upcoming workplace change events
  • Build and nurture relationships with tenant reps, property principals, corporate real estate leaders and end client decision makers (Property, Workplace, HR, C-suite)
  • Manage pipeline and reporting through the CRM system
  • Partner with the three directors to shape pitches, proposals and strategic client engagements
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and support directors in nurturing and delivering client projects
  • Represent the practice at industry events, networking functions and client engagements
  • Contribute to account farming strategies to grow existing key accounts

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven business development and sales track record within corporate office interiors, workplace fitout, commercial furniture, or a directly adjacent industry,
  • Exposure to financial services, legal, or ASX top-tier corporate clients highly regarded.
  • Interior design or architecture qualification, with experience or exposure to projects in the 1,00010,000 sqm range.
  • Strong network across tenant reps, property, or corporate real estate is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and manage a healthy pipeline (minimum 4 proposals/RFPs per week)
