Haysare currently seeking experienced and qualified chefs for a variety ofopportunities across the Townsville region, including FIFO/DIDO mine site positions and local hospitality and catering roles.

Your New Role
Depending on theposition, your duties may include:

Preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards Menu preparation and stock control Working collaboratively with kitchen teams Catering for large volumes in mining village or commercial kitchen settings Ensuring all kitchen operations comply with workplace health and safety requirements

What You'll Need to Succeed
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) Previous experience as a Chef in hospitality, catering, mining, remote village, or similar environments Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork skills Current driver's licence preferred
For mine sitepositions, you must also be able to:
Pass a pre-employment medical Pass a National Police Check Complete any required inductions prior to mobilisation
