JOB DESCRIPTION:

Flavour Lounge is a privately owned Australian company conveniently situated in South Toowoomba, 4350, Australia and the restaurant name is Flavour Lounge. We offer quality exceptional food services. We provide options for takeaway, dining in, and delivery services.

We are looking for a permanent full-time Cook to join our team. The restaurant is at Shop 6, 2 Wilmot Street, South Toowoomba, Australia. Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inspecting food items to ensure freshness and quality
2. Controlling temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment
3. Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes
4. Adding seasoning to food during the cooking process
5. Portioning meals, plating, and adding sauces, gravies, and garnishes
6. Storing food in appropriate temperature-controlled environments
7. Preparing meals to accommodate special dietary needs
8. Assisting in menu planning and estimating food requirements
9. Supporting the training of kitchen staff and apprentices

ATTRIBUTES:

1. Minimum of 1-year relevant qualification,
2. Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant discipline is required,
3. Committed to adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the kitchen.

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: 8 hours shift

Ability to commute/relocate location: Shop 6, 2 Wilmot Street, South Toowoomba, 4350, Australia. Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Experience: At least 1 year (Preferred)

Salary: $77000 to 80000 annually + superannuation

Work authorization: Australia (Preferred)
