Our customers are at the heart of what we do, and as a Branch Assistant, you’ll help make sure they receive the right products, on time and with great service. If you’re friendly, reliable and enjoy being out on the road, we’d love to hear from you. 
 

Your responsibilities: 

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently 
• Completing local same-day deliveries and return runs, including safely loading and unloading goods 
• Providing friendly customer service in the branch and at customer and supplier sites 
• Coordinating deliveries with customers, suppliers and the dispatch team 
• Receiving incoming stock and assisting with stock control and inventory management 
• Completing daily vehicle checks, maintaining logbooks and ensuring goods are transported safely 
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse and branch environment 
• Learning counter sales and order processing as you develop within the role 
• Supporting the team across general branch operations as required 

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• Industry Experience: Plumbing industry experience or knowledge of plumbing products or wholesale/trade sales experience would be highly beneficial.  
• Consultative Sales Skills: You should be comfortable engaging with customers and providing tailored recommendations.  
• Team Player Attitude: We value hard-working, adaptable team members who contribute to a positive work culture.  
• Strong Communication: You’ll be working closely with experienced tradespeople who expect efficient, knowledgeable service.  
• A valid driver’s licence is essential, while a forklift licence would be advantageous but is not required.
