Head of Service Delivery, Banking Applications (Singapore)

About the Role
A global IT services firm is looking for a Head of Service Delivery to lead a new programme on one of its strategic banking accounts in Singapore. You’ll be the senior delivery voice on the ground, running day-to-day delivery, managing the client relationship onsite and working with the India delivery lead who runs offshore operations. You’ll report to the regional delivery head for ASEAN.

Key Responsibilities

• Own application delivery and service outcomes for a strategic banking customer, across digital banking, payments and modernisation work.
• Manage the customer relationship in Singapore, including service reviews, steering committees and senior stakeholder reporting.
• Work with the India delivery lead to run offshore operations and make sure onsite requirements are met.
• Lead a large onshore and offshore team, building delivery leaders and a client-first culture.
• Keep delivery on track for quality, cost, schedule and SLAs, and manage risk and escalations.
• Support account growth by spotting expansion opportunities and improving delivery margin.

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years in IT services, with at least 10 years in banking and financial services
• Strong applications background (application development, maintenance, modernisation). This is not an infrastructure role.
• Digital banking and payments delivery experience
• Experience leading onsite and offshore teams, ideally with India delivery
• A track record of presenting to senior client stakeholders and running governance forums
• Hands-on technology experience earlier in your career
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
