A well-established electronic security business is looking for a Service Coordinator to join its Sydney team.
This is a hands-on coordination role where you'll be responsible for keeping the service team organised and making sure technicians are scheduled efficiently across their daily and weekly workload. You'll work closely with technicians out in the field, Service Managers and Project Managers, while also coordinating with service teams across other states.
The role will primarily support NSW, VIC and TAS, so strong organisation, communication and attention to detail will be important.
What you'll be doing
- Scheduling and coordinating technicians on a daily and weekly basis
- Managing service bookings, appointments and technician workloads
- Communicating with technicians throughout the day to keep jobs moving
- Handling a high volume of phone communication and email correspondence
- Working closely with the Service Manager and Project Managers to coordinate priorities and requirements
- Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders regarding service requirements and scheduling
- Coordinating with Service Coordinators and management teams across NSW, VIC and TAS
- Keeping job information, schedules and updates accurate and up to date on SimPRO
- Helping resolve scheduling issues and changes as they arise
- Supporting the wider service team with general administration and coordination
What we're looking for
You don't necessarily need experience in electronic security. We're open to someone with a background in office administration, scheduling, service coordination, administration or a similar role who is looking for their next challenge.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in an administration, coordination or scheduling-based role
- Strong phone communication skills and confidence speaking with different people throughout the day
- Strong written communication and email skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and keep on top of a busy schedule
- Confidence working with managers, technicians and customers
- A practical, solutions-focused approach when things change
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider team
The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm and is fully office-based in Sydney.
