Job Description

Join the team delivering premium hospitality within the Qantas Lounges at Sydney Airport. As a Full Time - Food & Beverage Supervisor, you’ll lead day‑to‑day operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience while supporting your team, maintaining service quality, and enhancing productivity.

Your day to day

  • Lead and support the team to deliver high‑quality Food & Beverage service aligned with Qantas and Accor brand standards.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Qantas service expectations and ensure delivery matches consistently.
  • Act as a point of contact for guest feedback, operational challenges, and daily communication needs.
  • Run briefings and deliver daily training sessions to build team capability.
  • Ensure the lounge is always service‑ready: grooming standards met, equipment clean and organised, and glassware polished.
  • Uphold all health, safety, compliance, and brand standards, ensuring policies and procedures are consistently followed.

Qualifications

  • Unrestricted Australian working rights (no sponsorship available).
  • 1–2 years’ supervisory experience in a hotel restaurant or high‑quality dining environment.
  • Experience working across rotational shifts in busy, all‑day dining or à la carte operations.
  • Familiarity with restaurant Point-of-Sale systems.
  • Physically capable of being on your feet for extended periods, with frequent bending/kneeling and the ability to lift up to 20kg.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Strong organisational ability with skills in managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Meets all local food handling and alcohol service regulations, including being above the legal serving age and fluent in local language.
  • Confident, warm, and engaging communicator who builds rapport easily.
  • NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
