We are currently seeking a Casual House Person to join our Housekeeping team.
About the Role
As a House Person, you'll play an important behind-the-scenes role in ensuring our Housekeeping operation runs smoothly and efficiently. Your support helps create the exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service that our guests expect from a luxury resort experience.
Working closely with our Room Attendants and Housekeeping leadership team, you'll help maintain guest areas, replenish supplies, and ensure the team has everything needed to deliver outstanding results each day.
No two days are the same, but your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Housekeeping team by ensuring service areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked
- Distributing linen and replenishing supplies to maintain operational requirements across the resort
- Responding promptly to guest and team requests with a helpful and proactive approach
- Transporting linen, equipment, amenities, and supplies throughout the property
- Assisting Room Attendants and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards in back-of-house and operational areas
- Following safe work practices and contributing to a positive team environment
This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys being on the move and takes pride in supporting a high-performing team.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering high standards.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or cleaning experience, although training will be provided
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The physical capability to lift, push, pull, and carry linen, equipment, and supplies safely
- An understanding of workplace health and safety practices, including chemical handling (desirable)
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- A current Australian Driver Licence (Class C)
- Current Australian working rights
