Salesperson - Truck and Heavy Equipment
- Understand the heavy equipment industry and engage customers effectively.
- Build trust and credibility without relying on hard sales tactics.
- Present products professionally and explain their practical applications.
We're looking for someone who genuinely understands the heavy equipment industry. Someone who can stand in front of a customer, have an intelligent conversation about trucks, ask the right questions, and build confidence from the outset.
This role isn't about hard selling. It's about credibility.
Our client is looking for someone who understands the industry, presents professionally, and enjoys working with customers to find the right solution. Whether your experience comes from truck sales, earthmoving equipment, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, fleet sales, or a related field, you'll know how to engage customers and speak their language.
You'll be joining a business with a strong reputation and quality product offering, where relationships matter just as much as results.
The person we're looking for:
- Knows the heavy vehicle, transport, machinery, or equipment industry
- Is comfortable speaking with customers at all levels, from owner-operators to fleet managers
- Can confidently walk a customer through a product and explain its practical application
- Presents professionally and takes pride in representing both themselves and their employer
- Builds trust naturally rather than relying on sales tactics
- Is proactive, curious, and commercially minded
This role would suit someone currently selling trucks, machinery, agricultural equipment, trailers, or other heavy assets who is looking for a quality brand and a business that values genuine customer relationships.
If you're the person others turn to for advice because you know your products, know your industry, and know how to build rapport, we'd love to have a conversation.
