Viso Foods Pty Ltd t/a Mad Mex Eastgardens operates a busy and customer-focused Mexican food restaurant providing freshly prepared meals, beverages and takeaway services to customers. The business is committed to delivering high-quality food, efficient service and a positive customer experience. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to join our team on a full-time basis and assist with the day-to-day management and continued growth of the business.

Minimum requirement

1. At least 1 year of relevant experience in retail, hospitality, food service or a similar management role.
2. Minimum Diploma required

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and retail service area.
2. Supervising, training and supporting staff to ensure efficient service and compliance with workplace procedures.
3. Preparing staff rosters and allocating duties according to business requirements and expected customer demand.
4. Monitoring customer service standards and addressing customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
5. Managing stock levels, ordering food, beverages, packaging and other supplies as required.
6. Monitoring inventory, receiving deliveries and checking goods against orders and delivery documentation.
7. Ensuring food products and other stock are stored appropriately and in accordance with food safety requirements.
8. Monitoring sales, costs and operational performance and implementing strategies to improve business efficiency.
9. Maintaining appropriate records relating to sales, stock, staff and operational activities.
10. Ensuring the premises, equipment and service areas are clean, organised and maintained to required standards.
11. Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and other relevant regulatory requirements.
12. Assisting with recruitment, induction and performance management of staff where required.
13. Coordinating daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling and reconciliation processes.
14. Identifying operational issues and implementing practical solutions to minimise disruptions to business operations.
15. Liaising with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery of products and maintenance services.
16. Assisting the business owner with implementing promotional activities and strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
