We are currently seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join a dedicated PBS team supporting people with disability and complex support needs across Adelaide Metro.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity suited to a practitioner looking to develop their clinical skills within a supportive team environment. Practitioners with less than one year of PBS experience are welcome to apply, provided they meet the required qualifications and NDIS requirements and have hands on experience.
About the Role
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work closely with participants, families, support networks and other professionals to understand behaviours of concern and develop practical, evidence-based strategies that improve quality of life and promote greater independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
- Developing, implementing and reviewing Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
- Providing training, guidance and coaching to support networks
You will bring:
- NDIS registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner as Core, Proficient or above
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline
- A current NDIS Worker Screening clearance
- A valid Australian driver's licence
Salary & Benefits
- $80,000 – $101,500 + super
