Regional Sales Manager I Fixed Plant Mining

About the role

• The successful candidate will manage their regional customer portfolio, site engagement and sales activity independently, while collaborating with the companies Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Product Development teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• The customer environment includes major mining and mineral processing operations.
• The specific account portfolio will be confirmed during recruitment.

Ideal Background

• Technical sales or account management experience within fixed plant mining or mineral processing.
• Experience supplying wear products, conveying systems, crushers, grinding mills, processing equipment or associated technical solutions.
• Experience working directly with major mining customers, including maintenance, engineering, operations and procurement stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, maintenance requirements and customer challenges.
• Proven solution-based selling, business development and account growth capability.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and discuss technical solutions with customers.
• Strong commercial judgement, including pricing, negotiation and margin management.
• A qualification or relevant background in Engineering, Mining, Business, Trade or a related discipline.
