Thsi is a hand-on role where you'll manage everything from event capture and interpretation through to elections, entitlement processing, reconciliation and settlement, ensuring activity is completed accurately and within critical market deadlines. Working closely with our clients, our global sub-custodian and market data providers, you will play an important role in managing operational risk and ensuring a seamless corporate actions process. • Validating event terms and entitlements before client notification and booking, controlling inherent event risk.
  • Managing client elections and instructions on voluntary events through CAM, chasing outstanding responses and managing deadline and diary control.
  • Instructing the sub-custodian and confirm elections within market deadlines.
  • Booking corporate action entitlements accurately in the IBOR (FIS InvestOne) – cash and stock, correct ex-dates and postings – and reconciling entitlements received against expected, investigating discrepancies.
  • Owning income processing where applicable (dividends, distributions, interest accruals) and related client notifications.
  • Managing proxy voting elections and meeting notifications with clients and the sub-custodian/proxy agent.
  • Establishing corporate actions controls, procedures and an event-risk framework, and support onboarding of new client asset servicing flows.
