SRIPADA VALLABHA PTY LTD is seeking a Chef to join the team on a full-time, fixed-term contract for 3 months (non-ongoing), is responsible for supporting daily operations, maintaining product and service quality, supervising staff, and ensuring the overall customer experience reflects the business’s standards and brand values.
Salary Range : $35 - $38 AUD

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, safely, and consistently during service periods.
- Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Support high-volume service periods while maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with minimising waste and maintaining cost control where required.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Minimum two years’ experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Sound knowledge of commercial cookery practices, food preparation techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, hygiene, and safe food handling requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with the ability to follow instructions from senior kitchen staff.
