This opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in building, construction, estimating, site supervision or the trades who is looking for a long-term career that still utilises their technical expertise.
The Role
As an On-Road Home Assessor, you'll attend residential properties across the Western Sydney region to assess damage, determine repair requirements and prepare scopes of work following home insurance claims.
You'll work closely with customers, builders, repairers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes and a positive customer experience throughout the claims journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct onsite property assessments
- Identify building damage and repair requirements
- Prepare scopes of work and repair estimates
- Review claim documentation, photos and reports
- Manage claims through to completion
- Liaise with customers, builders and repair partners
- Negotiate repair outcomes and costs
- Ensure repairs are completed within agreed timeframes

About You
You'll ideally come from a background in:
- Building
- Construction
- Estimating
- Insurance Assessing
- Site Supervision
- Carpentry or Trades
You will also have:
- Strong residential building knowledge
- Experience preparing or reviewing scopes of work
- Ability to identify building defects and damage
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
