About The Waterfront Hotel:

Set on the edge of Kangaroo Bay Marina in Bellerive, The Waterfront Hotel delivers an iconic waterfront dining and entertainment experience. Our bistro showcases quality local produce, and during the week, the C‑bar is ideal for a relaxed drink, light meal or coffee.  Weekends come alive with live music, Sunday sessions and alfresco vibes by the water. From food and drink to entertainment, we’re all about creating memorable seaside moments.

What you can expect in a day in this role:

In these roles, you will be responsible for attending to inquiries from our gaming patrons and guests, preparing and dispensing beverages, running food, and taking orders, all with exceptional customer service.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with gaming functions and operations
  • Assisting patrons with both food and beverage orders, inquiries, and complaints
  • Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Taking orders and running food to tables
  • Assist with large groups or bookings

What you will bring to the role:

Our ideal candidate will thrive in a busy environment, have a passion for the industry, and provide excellent customer service.

We are also looking for:

  • Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
  • Have a “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations, and procedures
  • An understanding of food & beverage products and services
  • Current Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG)
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
  • Keno Writer & Gaming Machine Attendant or Senior Keno Writer and Gaming Machine Supervisor Certificates would be advantageous
  • Able to work a variety of night and weekend shifts, which may include public holidays.

A successful candidate in this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
