About the Company
Our client is a well-established FMCG manufacturer supplying products to major retailers, foodservice customers, and international markets. The business is committed to producing high-quality products while maintaining strong food safety, quality, and compliance standards across its operations.

Following continued investment in the quality function, an opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join a collaborative and supportive technical team.

About the Role
The Quality Assurance Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining and improving site quality systems while supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations. Working closely with production and quality teams, you will help ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the site's Quality Management System and food safety programs

  • Assisting with internal, customer, and third-party audits

  • Maintaining compliance with HACCP, GMP, and certification requirements

  • Investigating non-conformances and supporting corrective and preventative actions

  • Providing day-to-day quality support across manufacturing operations

  • Supporting Quality Controllers with technical guidance and issue resolution

  • Reviewing quality documentation, specifications, and records

  • Assisting with customer complaints, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Working collaboratively with production and cross-functional stakeholders to improve quality outcomes

  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen quality systems and operational performance

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Food Safety role within FMCG or food manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality systems

  • Experience supporting customer, regulatory, or certification audits

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

  • Ability to support operational teams and build strong working relationships
