Financial Accountant

An opportunity exists for a high-calibre accountant to join a large, complex organisation within a high-performing finance team.

This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, technical accounting, consolidation activities, statutory compliance, audit, treasury support, and business improvement initiatives. Working closely with senior finance leaders, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of technical accounting matters while contributing to key finance projects and strategic initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly and year-end financial reporting requirements
• Preparation of statutory financial statements and supporting disclosures
• Managing journals, accruals, reconciliations and balance sheet integrity
• Assisting with technical accounting assessments and business projects
• Partnering with stakeholders across multiple business units
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
• Assisting with consolidation and reporting activities across a multi-entity environment

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
• 3-5 years of experience with strong financial accounting fundamentals with group consolidation and reporting experience
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
• The ability to build relationships across a broad stakeholder group
• A proactive attitude and desire to continue developing professionally
