A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Recruitment Consultant to Join our Support Services team in Malaga, Perth. 

To be considered for this role you will have previous mining recruitment experience both within blue- and white-collar recruitment, with understanding off full recruitment life cycle. 

This is a fast-paced role where strong communication skills along with juggling multiple roles and competing priorities come into play. 

THIS IS INITIALLY A CASUAL POSITION FOR A MAJOR NEW PROJECT RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGNE.  

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Establish recruiting requirements aligning with manager requirements
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• Write and post job ads 
• Full recruitment cycle - understand job scope, post ad, shortlist, screen, set up interview, provide next stage and update systems
• Liaise with hiring managers, and external recruiters
• Have demonstrable experience of screening and understanding technical / blue- and white-collar roles
• Have a good eye and attention for detail
• Screen candidates resumes and job applications
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications
• Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
• Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
• Achieve recruitment objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

 
Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously
• Minimum 2 years’ experience recruiting in relevant industry environment
• Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)
• JobAdder Experience 
• Great communication skills
• Great attention to detail
