Job Description
- End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll cycles across multiple entities and states
- Manage payroll activities including new starters, terminations, redundancies, and out-of-cycle payments
- Perform reconciliations across payroll, GL, superannuation, and statutory requirements
- Ensure compliance with STP, payroll tax, and superannuation obligations
- Respond to employee and stakeholder queries with a strong service focus
- Support audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Produce reporting and maintain data integrity across SAP and SuccessFactors systems
- Collaborate with Finance and People teams on projects and process enhancements
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in a Senior Payroll Officer position, managing end-to-end payroll
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll and legislative requirements
- Experience with SAP payroll
- High attention to detail with strong analytical capability
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify process improvements
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
