Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

About the Role

Chargrill Charlie’s Rose Bay is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fast Food Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fast-paced store. The successful candidate will lead a team of front and back-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service, ensure product quality, and maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Hire, train, and supervise team members to maintain a high standard of performance.
  2. Plan and manage staff rosters and shift schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  3. Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  4. Track daily sales, set budgets, and control operating costs with a focus on food waste reduction.
  5. Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain accurate stock records.
  6. Ensure compliance with workplace health, cleanliness, and safety regulations.
  7. Monitor the preparation and presentation of food to maintain consistency and quality.
  8. Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly and professionally.
  9. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement marketing strategies that drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer retention.

Skills and Experience Required

  1. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a fast food or quick service restaurant management role.
  2. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  3. Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
  4. Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  5. Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
  6. Experience in staff training and performance management.

Qualifications

  1. Certificate IV or higher in Hospitality Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
