Our Office of the Mayor & Councillors team is looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Coordinator Civic Affairs on a permanent basis.

As the Coordinator Civic Affairs, you will lead a small team responsible for supporting the Mayor and Councillors through the delivery of civic affairs, stakeholder engagement, communications and administrative services. • Hold a current unrestricted “C” class national driver’s licence
  • Experience providing support in a senior executive, governance, civic affairs, communications or public sector environment.
  • Experience coordinating civic events, stakeholder engagement activities or community engagement initiatives.
  • Experience managing sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Experience working within policy, legislative and governance frameworks.
  • Experience coordinating multiple priorities within a high-profile and deadline-driven environment.
