Your new role
As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with a varied portfolio of SME clients, providing compliance and advisory services while building trusted client relationships.Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for a range of entities
• Providing business, taxation and strategic advice to clients
• Assisting with tax planning and value-added advisory projects
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members
• Mentoring and supporting less experienced staff
• Building strong relationships with clients and identifying opportunities to add value

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will possess:

• CA or CPA qualification, or be nearing completion
• 4+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting
• Strong technical knowledge across business services and taxation
• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for a variety of entities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and client-focused approach
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
