Baileys of Glenrowan is a quality winery, steeped in history and heritage, specialising in fine organic red wines and luscious fortifieds. Established in 1870, Baileys has taken the best of the old vineyard winemaking techniques and combined these with a modern interpretation to produce outstanding and truly distinctive wines. From Vintage 2019, Baileys vineyards and entire wine range are now grown, produced and labelled as fully certified organic.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Cellar Door & Front of House Assistant to bring their skills, wine knowledge and exceptional customer service to help us create an outstanding and memorable experience for our customers in the Baileys Cellar Door and when dining in the Bundarra Organic Kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Wine tasting and table service for small and large groups
- Drive counter sales, Wine Club recruitment and aim to improve sales
- Be able to offer a high standard of customer service
- Provide exceptional table service to Bundarra Kitchen diners
- Contribute to the overall experience for guests and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure all areas are kept at a high level of cleanliness
- Assist with stock control when required
- Assist with Events and Functions when required
- Assist with phone, reception and wine club enquiries
- Ensure work is completed with awareness of Work Health and Safety requirements and promote Responsible Service of Alcohol
What We're Looking For
- Have an understanding and passion for wine
- Have current RSA & Drivers Licence
- Be able to work in a team, under high pressure and in a busy environment
- Weekend work is required
- Be well presented, organised and have the ability to multitask
- Participate operationally in on-site events
- Have strong communication skills
