About the role

The Administration Officer is part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides a wide range of quality services and responsible for delivering customer service in a professional, flexible and timely manner to achieve high quality customer focused outcomes.

Key duties of the role

  • Ensure the provision of a quality customer information and enquiry service to both internal and external clients
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of services by providing a comprehensive administration support service
  • Provide an efficient and coordinated customer booking and records management system
  • Maintain accurate and secure electronic client records while supporting a positive and safe work environment.
  • Actively participate in quality and risk management activities that contribute to ongoing improvement of service

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated frontline customer service and administrative experience within a health service.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality and integrity.
  • Demonstrated experience with electronic and hard-copy records, appointment bookings and data entry.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise competing demands, multitask and work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, word processing and administrative systems.
