Newnham Hotel is looking for a hands-on Venue Manager who brings strong leadership, a collaborative approach and a sharp commercial eye.
A family-friendly venue offering quality food and beverage, gaming, functions and regular family-focused events, Newnham caters to everything from relaxed dining and social occasions to larger celebrations and community activations.
About the role
You’ll take ownership of daily operations, team development and business performance. You’ll be comfortable on the floor supporting service and reviewing the numbers to understand what’s working, where improvements are needed and how to grow the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching and developing an engaged team
- Overseeing food, beverage, gaming and function operations
- Managing budgets, labour, stock and operating costs
- Using performance data to improve revenue and profitability
- Delivering consistent service standards and maintaining compliance
- Supporting events and activations that connect with the local community
About you
You’re an experienced hospitality manager who leads by example and works well with others. You bring working knowledge of food, beverage and gaming operations, sound financial understanding and the curiosity to look beyond the headline numbers.
