The Company
A high performing, global organisation and genuine market leader in its industry, the ANZ and wider APAC business is going through an exciting transformation. New systems, a newly appointed Head of Supply Chain, and a national transition to a 3PL model are all underway, and this newly created role has been designed as part of that.
You'll have access to great data, work with a collaborative team, and have real influence to present solutions within a new role, a transformative environment and a new operating environment.
This is a high impact position within an energetic, hybrid culture. The supply chain team is continuing to build, and there are genuine career opportunities over time, whether that's into Planning, Procurement, Logistics or broader E2E Supply Chain Management. The business has invested in its team and recently created new roles with outstanding leaders in place, so this is a genuine opportunity to shape the role, build strong relationships and deliver real value.
What you'll be doing
- Analysing how product moves through the network and finding smarter ways to do it
- Getting into freight and network design, is the network running as efficiently as it could, are the rates right
- Playing a key role in the transition to the 3PL, helping embed forecasting, replenishment and visibility from the ground up
- Checking 3PL and transport invoices against what should actually be paid
- Getting on top of inventory, stock turns, ageing stock and obsolescence, and turning that into real decisions
- Owning a weekly reporting pack that people actually use
- Working directly with customers on freight and service questions, an area ripe for improvement
What we're after
You don't need industry experience. We're looking for curious, solutions focused analysts who have the ability and appetite to build relationships internally and externally, from supply through to customer.
- Strong Excel, pivot tables at minimum, and comfortable pulling data out of an ERP
- You can build a dashboard but more importantly you know what it's telling you
- Genuinely analytical, motivated and solutions focused
- Good at building trust and relationships across the business
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, operations or inventory analysis
If you want to shape a newly created role inside a business genuinely investing in getting this right, get in touch.
