Your new role
As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in the planning, preparation, execution and review of large-scale training activities. You will coordinate operational requirements, manage documentation, facilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure activities are delivered in accordance with schedule, governance and security requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating training and exercise planning activities
- Managing operational documentation, schedules and reporting
- Liaising with Defence, government and external stakeholders
- Supporting the delivery of complex maritime and joint training activities
- Maintaining records, repositories and lessons learned databases
- Coordinating access, communications and logistical requirements
- Ensuring governance, compliance and security requirements are met
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and operational outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance
- Experience within operational planning, training, exercise coordination or military environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Knowledge of operational planning processes and Defence systems
- Advanced organisational and administrative capabilities
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including reporting and document management
- The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
- A willingness to undertake domestic and international travel when required
Experience supporting maritime, joint, combined or multi-domain operations, along with simulation or training environment experience, will be highly regarded.
