- Coordinate patient meal orders using menu management software, ensuring selections meet dietary requirements.

THE POSITION
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine customer service, food service and healthcare. Working alongside Dietitians, Nursing Staff, Speech Pathologists and Catering Teams, you'll play an important role in ensuring patients receive meals that meet their dietary requirements safely and accurately.
- Order meals for patients using menu management software
- Monitor menus and dietary requirements to ensure meal accuracy
- Communicate with Dietitians, Nursing Staff, Speech Pathologists and Catering Teams
- Support patients with meal selections and dietary enquiries
- Perform final meal tray accuracy checks prior to service
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Follow food safety, allergen and infection control procedures
THE PERSON
- Experience in healthcare food services, hospital food services, aged care, patient feeding services or similar environments
- Experience using meal ordering or menu management systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confidence using computers and digital systems
- Understanding of food safety, allergens and special dietary requirements
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
